You are now able to quickly mute your iPad. When the iPad first came out, you couldn't quickly mute it. With the advent of iOS 4.3, it became possible to mute the audio easily. Just hold the volume down button for a few seconds to mute.
In the Google Maps app, the Street View can be used. Search on it and a red pin will show up on your map. Tap the pin and choose the person icon to load the street view.

Multitask your web browsing experience using tabs. Using tabs allows you to follow links and visit other sites without closing what you are doing. Just hold the link rather than tapping it. This will give you a menu of options. Within the options, you can arrange for the link to be opened in a new tab, and this means you don't lose your current browsing page.
Put parental controls in place on your iPad. You can access restrictions from the general settings. You can then get to where you can enable setting restrictions. This will protect your child from content that is beyond their age range. Anything adult will be blocked.
The iPad is quite resistant, but water can be a real threat. Do not use it in humid areas such as your bathroom or a sauna, and keep it in a place where nothing will be spilled on it. Doing so runs the risk of causing serious damage.

You can adjust the settings so you can see more than a couple of lines from the emails in your inbox. Go to your mail settings under the general heading. Select "5 lines" for example. Now you can see more of each email in your inbox, speeding up the skimming process.

This browser will load up whatever page you looked at last, so pick out a page that you won't be ashamed to show someone else.
When the iPad freezes up, do a soft reboot. Hold both the home and power buttons to get your device to reload. This will make the device restart. If all you need is for an application to close, then hold down the home button. Keep it held for a second or two.
There is an easier way to view the video or picture you have just taken besides the film icon in the bottom corner. Just swipe your finger to the right to find the video or picture you just took. For earlier pictures, just swipe left instead.
