Do you hate trying to scroll down as you surf online? Save yourself a bit of time by clicking the UI bar located on the upper part of the browser window. Unless you have a lot of time to recharge your iPad, avoid using an iPhone charger. The iPad has a totally different wattage than the iPhone (10 watts compared to 5 watts). It takes much longer to fully charge the iPad with a iPhone charger. Use the charger that came with your iPad instead. Determine whether you wish your lock key to just lock tablet orientation or mute sounds. Note that early versions of the iPad do not have this capability. Typically, you will find all devices that run on iOS 4.3 and higher have this capability. Another way to shut off the sound quickly is to hold the volume down button for a couple seconds. If you need to mute the sound on an iPad, try this tip. Just depress the volume button for a couple of seconds. This is a lot quicker than going through the settings. When ready for original volume level, simply hold the button down again.

Doing this will erase all data on the iPad whenever a person attempts to input the passcode ten times. If you lessen the brightness of the screen, you can get more from your battery. You'll probably see that you're not going to need the brightest setting to see your screen.
