Even with two new well publicized films entering the race this weekend, it was last week’s reigning champ, Toy Story 3, that won the weekend.
Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups did remarkably well and would have topped the box office if it weren’t for the Pixar juggernaut of Toy Story. Tom Cruise’s Knight & Day was very disappointing and came in a distant third with $20 million.
Box Office Mojo’s Top 10 Box Office Estimates for 6/25-6/27:
1. Toy Story 3 – $59 million 2. Grown Ups – $41 million 3. Knight & Day – $20.5 million 4. The Karate Kid – $15.4 million 5. The A-Team – $6 million 6. Get Him to the Greek – $3 million 7.
